Headfield Cottage is an 18th century detached property with 2 bedrooms sleeping 4/6 persons, attractive south facing garden and lovely views up to the Wasdale fells.  It is very conveniently situated in the heart of the village, which boasts a handful of houses, a Church and 2 pubs (The Strands and The Screes,  both providing excellent food and real ale).It is one mile from Wastwater and surrounded by open countryside.

The house has lounge, dining room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom upstairs allowing accommodation for 4 people. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge giving the option of an additional 2 places.

                                  

The property has oil central heating and an open fire, cooker and microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, TV, Video, DVD player, high pressure shower and bath.  Low ceilings and beams provide rustic charm but restricted headspace, particularly in the bedrooms. The garden has a lawned area at the rear with garden furniture and BBQ for relaxing and dining out.
